Job title: Compliance Manager
Employer: Multinational pharma company
Compliance administration in the region:
Supports the business in the region with a view to have all processes and transactions performed in accordance with Code of Conduct, global, regional and local policies and procedures, legal and regulatory requirements
Develops / Reviews necessary policies and procedures of all departments within the geographies to ensure consistency & compliance with local / applicable laws.
Provides consultancy in the areas of marketing activities of a pharmaceutical company (KOLs engagement, event organization with HCPs participation, gifts and hospitality, interaction with healthcare institutions), donation and charity, conflict of interest etc.
Manages e-compliance system of electronic self-declaration
Establishes and revises systems of internal controls with a focus on applicable anti-corruption regulations (FCPA, UKBA, etc.), takes appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness
Assists in the improving of due diligence of future and existing vendors (business partners)
Develops and implements compliance education curriculum, delivers trainings on yearly basis in the region
Supports the development of a corporate culture where ethical and compliant values-based behavior is embraced by employees, helps the management to deliver the right tone from the top
Risk tracking and remediation in the region:
Identifies potential areas of vulnerability and risk. Works with local legal incumbent to ensure risk tracker is updated.
On regular basis organizes meetings devoted to identification of risks and deciding on action plan towards mitigation. Tracks and follows up with respective functions for mitigation plan execution.
Whistleblowing & Investigation:
Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution, participates in internal investigations based on internal reporting of a compliance concern.
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian and Ukrainian
3 - 5 years of previous work experience in similar roles in the fields of compliance or legal
Preference in Pharma or FMCG Experience
Master degree in law or finance or economics or other relevant area
Expertise in compliance trends
Experience in working in an international environment with application of diverse culture
